During the current Covid-19 pandemic, The Latitude Hotels Group has been taking measures and actions prescribed by the Ugandan authorities to ensure the ongoing safety of our guests and team members.
In order to continue the vital process of safeguarding our team and our guests, The Latitude Hotels Group has therefore taken the decision to temporarily close Latitude 0o until further notice. This closure not only affects the hotel, but also our gyms, spas, bars, restaurants and workspaces, and is with effect Monday 30th March, 2020.
As we continue to spread our physical footprint throughout Africa, we are passionate about keeping our other footprints as small and with as little impact as possible. Forging real connections and commitments allows us to create statement interiors that focus on local African authenticity, produced by local communities using recycled, upcycled and sustainable materials.
We are proud to be ambassadors for emerging African talent.
Curated original artworks form huge centrepieces in lobbies, ornate hand beaded textiles adorn the stylish bedrooms and our funky recycled and upcycled furniture really pushes the boundaries of local artisans’ talent, and the materials they have to hand.
Our ethical attitude towards our existence helps to create a unique vibe that is unlike any formulaic hotel.
